Hair today....gone...today. What I did for love

Anthony has been considering cutting off his rat tail.  Tonight he asked me to cut it off.  I said it was his decision, but asked why he wanted to.  He said Huck (old friend from cub scouts and ccd, who's now in his class) said it's gross.  I said what do you care what Huck says?  Besides Huck had a short rat tail for a little while.  He said there was more to the story.....He said Huck told Grace it was gross and Grace agreed.  Grace was Anthony's 1st grade crush who is in his class again this year.  I'm a little sad.  Not that he cut his hair, but that he made the decision based on a girls opinion.  He's growing up way to fast.

We went to Emily's school to turn in some paperwork.    I forgot a form in the car.  I wanted to try and see if Emily would stay behind without me, so Ms. Tania told Emily she needed to talk with me and to stay with Anthony and we'd be right back.  Emily looked nervous at first, and then let go of my hand and took Anthony's  Right after I left the went to play Legos.  Anthony wanted to know if he could go back to preschool and neither of them wanted to leave. We're starting the countdown.  5 more days.

I missed it but Anthony said Aubrey took about five steps without holding on to anything.  I've seen her do two, but not five. I'm sad that I missed it.  Aubrey has been sharing her bottle lately.  She puts it up to my mouth and waits for me to pretend to take a sip.  Then she laughs.  I remember Anthony used to do that too.
