Thursday Carysa came over. They made crafts that we brought home earlier in the week and played with the new rabbit Flower.  Last night was Anthony's first cub scout den meeting. Daddy, Anthony, Emily, Aubrey, and I all went.  They really worked those kids.  Half way thru the meeting the den leader from our new den, Melanie took the boys outside and had them do excercises and then run around the church. Anthony fell asleep about five minutes after his head hit the pillow.  Daddy said he went to check on him and that Anthony had been working on a word search and had his head planted in the book with a puddle of drool.  That was a first. Not the drool, but the Anthony going to bed without 'banging' and so fast.  But there were more firsts last night./this morning. Not only did Anthony fall asleep so fast, but he was also the first to wake up.  That never happens.  And Aubrey slept in her bassinet for six hours straight.  Sleeping that long for her is extremely rare, but has never happened without me holding her.  She usually sleeps four to five hours at a time at night, but only when (and I always am) holding her while we sleep.  Plus Emily and Aubrey were both the last ones up and usually they are the first. There wasn't even a full moon last night.

Emily cut out the eyes and did all the glueing herself.... There's a magnet on the back.  She hung it on the refridgerator.  Glue was dripping down the front of the fridge and on the floor. :)

 

 

This morning Emily told me, "I think a poopy is coming."  (Still working on that potty training thing, but it will happen.)  She took a bubble bath with TONS of bubbles. Lately every time I put bubbles in her tub she informs me that she loves bubbles and bubble baths, but that her cousin Skylar does not like bubbles or bubbles baths.  I have to remember to ask Aunt Chris if that's true.

Flower Scouts and Library

A couple weeks ago, Aunt Kim met a lady who had a pet rabbit that they no longer wanted.  It was an adult male wild bunny that their daughter had as a pet but no longer had time to care for.  He even came with a cage, which was perfect because we needed something to put Madelyn in so we could bring him in the house on cold nights during the winter.  Just like Madelyn, who we named when we thought she was a girl, our new bunny got his name Flower because his previous owners also thought he was female. Flower is a sweet little bunny.  (Madelyn is too, but he bites)  The kids love him and he gives kisses.

Just when I thought we were done with Cub Scouts..... I guess you could say our den disbanded.  Kaden moved to Sevieville and joined another district, Huck from church only came to a few meetings, James moved away to Georgia,  and we haven't heard from Nicholas or Jayden.  When I told Anthony yesterday that it was time to get ready for his pack meeting he was not interested.  Scouts started back up last month, we went to a pack meeting and no one was there from our den. He insisted he wanted to quit scouts.  I made him go to this one last pack meeting in the hopes that since the recruiter came by to the schools last week, that there would be new kids that he might know.  It was the best (and longest) pack meeting ever.  We joined the other Bear den along with his friend Drew from 1st grade.  That den leader decided instead of having a second den for their age group like last year that we would combine groups.  I love love love this idea.  Not only we he be in Drew's den but Frank was at the meeting.  Frank was Anthony's best friend from 2nd grade and he's such a nice boy.  Pack meetings are no longer boring for the boys.  One of the leaders takes them outside to play.  They got to play on the church playground the entire meeting.  Aunt Kim came with us and brought Emily outside to play with the boys.  Emily loves cub scouts even more then the boys I think.

Today was the girls 2nd week of storytime at the library. Emily gets so excited to see Mr. Spence.  To bad she never shows it when we get there.  Aubrey was so good last week.  I held her the whole time and she fell asleep the second half.  Today it was raining and I considered not going but I didn't want to disappoint Emily.  Plus, today they were reading, "Always listen to your mother." Grandma should have been here for that one. ;-)  But she and Grandpa are on a trip.  Aubrey slept in her carseat.  She woke up a few times long enough to look around and then fell right back asleep.  Today when they were doing their numbers, Mr. Spence game Emily the tail of the number snake. When it was her turn to put her piece of the snake on the board.  He called her name and she got all shy and put her arms around my neck and said, "I want you." Everyone laughed and thought she was so cute.  She agreed to put on the tail but asked me to come with her.  Anthony was always shy at the library too.  He turned out to be the class clown, so I'm betting Emily will too.
