Emily and I have been searching the internet for Halloween costume ideas. So far, I've learned that she really really wants a Princess Sofia dress and another Minnie Mouse dress. Her first choice for Aubrey was a Santa Claus costume. Then I found the cutest Minion costume. She agreed to be Minion and that Aubrey should be one too. They would be totally adorable, but I didn't want her to commit since she's never seen Despicable Me and didn't know what a minion was. Daddy surprised us and got off work early so he watched the movie with us and Aunt Kim. I've put the movie on for Emily in the past and she wasn't interested. Well tonight she laughed her butt off. She laughed so loud we thought she would wake the baby. She has the most contagious laugh.
After our movie party, we let the kids lay in bed with us and watch tv for a little while. Daddy and Anthony were at the top and Emily and I were at the bottom. We were going to let them stay for the night but it was a bit crowded. So when Daddy turned the tv off, we sent them to Anthony's room for a sleepover. They weren't the only ones. When Aubrey woke up at six, I went to bring her a bottle and change her panties and Lucy was having a sleepover with Aubrey and was sleeping in Emily's bed. When I showed Aubrey, she thought it was funny.
This evening is open house at Anthony's school. We're going to meet his teacher and find out who will be in his class. School starts Friday. He is excited to see his friends again, but is hoping we reach our goal of seeing every episode of Yes Dear before summer break ends.
