Lazy Weekend

It's been a bit of a lazy weekend at the Bryant house.  Friday Grandma took the kids and I to McKay's, a huge used bookstore in Knoxville.  It was customer appreciation day.  They were serving hotdogs and snacks, and asking trivia questions.  Anthony won a dollar credit to the store.  I picked up some biographies for myself,  some Pirates of the Caribbean books for Anthony and some for his AR reading at school.  I picked out a copy of The Jungle Book for Emily, since it's her favorite movie right now.  We got a Halloween Dora the Explorer book for the girls to share.  Anthony bought himself a Wii game and Emily insisted she wanted a wooden ballerina that you color with and then add sparkly glitter glue and gems to her tutu.  I agreed to buy it, but she's not allowed to have it until Tuesday, after she dances at dance class.  Friday night after we put Aubrey to bed,  Anthony, Emily, and I brought our drinks and some popcorn in my bed and had a book party.  The three of us all read our new books.

Today we went with Daddy to pick up a box of clothes for Anthony.  A lady was selling a giant box of boys clothes on a facebook online garage sale for $20.  He got a new winter coat, a couple pairs of pants and a whole bunch of new shirts. Then we went to Home Depot for supplies.  We got some play sand for the sandbox, and a wooden board.  Daddy is going to make shelves for the toy room to put all the kids dvds and vcr tapes so we have more room on the bookshelf to put some of Emily's toys that have smaller pieces so Aubrey can't get them.
