36

Today's my birthday.  Mommy's 36 years old.  Today has been a crazy busy day.  I've stayed up until 3:30 two nights in a row and got up at 6:45 to get the kids off too school.  I've been busy tagging and getting ready for the consignment sale.  Today I dropped the kids off at school and came back home to do some last minute tagging and cleaning.  Grandpa drove out with me to Knoxville to drop off our stuff and Grandma came over to stay with Aubrey. We had so much clothes to get rid of that it took almost an hour to sort all our stuff. By the time we got back it was time to pick up the kids.  I put Aubrey down for her second nap of the day for what I thought would be an hour.  I invited Emily to watch cartoons with me.  I fell asleep at 4 and other then waking up to put on a new show for Emily and saying hi to Daddy when he got home, I sleep all the way until 7. Mommy's not as young as she used to be.  I used to be able to go a week with almost no sleep. Grandma and Grandpa and Aunt Kim came over for cake. I bought a lime cake and Grandma made me a lemon cake. Aubrey tried to get everyone's attention by putting her fork in her mouth and doing tricks with it.  Emily helped me blow out the candles.

Emily had another good day at school.  Ms. Rachel said she sat with her friends, but wanted to save her classwork for homework.  She ate some of her lunch again but still won't use the potty until we get there.  They didn't play on the playground, but Rachel said they got out the parachute and Emily participated. She said she didn't look like she was having a ton of fun, but didn't look she minded it either.  Ms. Rachel said she didn't ask Emily because she knew she would say no, so she told her to come help pass out classwork to her friends. She wrote each kids name on their papers and said go bring this to so and so and would have that child raise their hand.  She did this with everyone of her classmates and Emily did it.  She has come so far.
