Emily is back to her happy self. You would never know she went to the ER last night. She slept until 10:30 this morning and Anthony didn't wake up until 12:15 so Mommy had a very quiet morning. Cleaned out the car and vacuumed. Tomorrow I will try to scrub the nastiness off the seats and headliner. (don't ask) Baby girl has spent the day with me. She claps and danced to Yo gabba gabba. She doesn't just bounce anymore, now she moves her hips back and forth. She has been waiving a lot lately. She has a bad cold right now and she's been getting real mad when I wipe her nose.
Anthony is spending the day with Grandma. She is taking him school clothes shopping (tax free week) Thanks Mom. This morning he asked me to make him breakfast. I realized the only thing we had was cheerios and one egg. I gave him his choices and he asked to go to McDonalds. That sounded like a good idea to me. Happy meal for Anthony and a smoothie for me... and Emily. She loved it.
Tonight Aunt Kim is coming over to watch the kids so me and Daddy can have a date night. I thought I'd be nice and have dinner ready. So I thawed out ground beef and boiled some chicken to put in spaghetti. Then I realized I had no cans of sauce. So mommy made homemade sauce. We had tomatoes, so I put them in the blender and woo hoo. I made homemade sauce. Sort of. I made meatballs, with raisins (sorry daddy but they're yummy) Daddy and Emily were my taste testers. I passed. If my family keeps eating my cooking, I might start doing it more often.
Only a couple more hours until date night. Daddy's taking me to the drive in to see Inception. Can't wait.
