Last Monday was Science day at the library. Anthony didn't want to go but ended up being glad we did. So glad, he went twice, once with me and Emily and then again with Grandma in the afternoon. They did things with dry ice and liqud nitrogen. They made air turn to a liquid, made a huge bubble fountain, slime, snow, all kinds of stuff. They each got a balloon yoyo and some science experiments to bring home.
The other day Daddy's friend, Ellman gave the kids each another dollar. Emily refused to give Ellman a high five but didn't shy away to bad. After he walked away I told Emily I thought she should blow him a kiss to thank him for her dollar. She said, "I don't want to. I'm shy." We didn't get out of the parking lot before she told me, "He's a nice man."
Saturday Anthony earned quite a bit of money for doing jobs around the house. He did a great job. Today Daddy and I took the kids to Walmart to spend their money on new fish for their fish tank. Anthony decided instead of fish for the tank, he picked a beta tank and a male betta fish. Emily later stood up in the shopping cart and started dancing and singing, "Shake your tail. Shake your booty. Shake your booty."
Tonight we used Anthony's new glow in the dark bubbles we got the other day. We had the whole porch lit up. Then Daddy and Anthony coated Anthony's rocket with bubbles and shot it up in the air. That was pretty cool to watch. Then we put a little bit of glow bubbles on Barbara the cat and watched her glow.
