Today we went to Knoxville to see the replicas of Christopher Columbus's Nina and Pinta. Anthony was excited when we saw them saw them from the bridge because at first he thought they were pirate ships. After we told him what we were seeing he told us all about the third ship that sank, the Santa Maria. He told us that on one of Columbus's voyages, there was a total of 17 ships. I asked if he knew which one Columbus rode on. He said the Nina. I did a little research tonight, he's right....about all of it. Smart boy! Wonder why every day after school when I ask him what he learned, he always says "nothing".
