Update

Anthony agreed to be in the dance recital this spring. Originally he wanted to take hip hop classes but didn't want to dance in the recital.  He changed his mind after Daddy and I bribed him.  After negotiations we all found a price we could live with.....$27.  That was a couple months ago.  Last night he admitted he would have done it for free.  Ms. DeeDee, his dance teacher picked a song.  His class will be dancing to Weird Al's "White and Nerdy."  He's learned some of the new moves already and will be wearing a bow tie and glasses as part of his costume.  I can't wait. He's getting really good.  He's excited that he's mastered both the "baby freeze" moves.  He said he might even dance this year at the schools talent show.

Tonight Grandma took him to his cub scout meeting.  Mr. Kevin (the fire chief, and one of the older boys from another dens dad)  came to help the boys with their handyman skills.  He taught the boys how to change a light bulb and how to give their bikes a tune up.  (put air in their tires and grease their chain) He even taught them how to check and add oil to a car.

Tomorrow Grandma is bringing him to his friend Caden's  (his best friend from the 3rd grade) birthday party.  It's at Wilderness in the Smokey's indoor waterpark.

Last week the girls both had a cold and runny nose.  This week Aubrey has a low fever and a little bit of a runny nose.  I think she's getting a new tooth.  She's been a little grumpy lately and more cuddly than normal.  She's been walking around for a minute or two, then comes over and wants to be picked up and get a hug.  Only for a minute though and then she wants to be put back down.  She's known how to say my name a long time now, but she hasn't said it in a long time.  The last two days she's been saying it a lot.  It sounds like she's calling me "Mum" but I'll take it.  I love that she's finally saying my name.
