In line to drop Anthony off at school......

Me: Wow, that girl is kind of tall to go to your school isn't she?
Anthony: No, she's a 2nd grader.
Me: Oh, she looks older. Who's that boy? He looks way to old to be a 2nd grader?
Anthony: That's Caleb. He's in 1st grade. Eli's in 1st grade and he's 5 ft tall.
Me: Wow.
Anthony: Why are you so impressed Mom?
Me: Ok, that guy has facial hair, please tell me he's not in your class.
Anthony : He's a parent dufus!

Emily learned a new word......CANDY.... and she says it a lot.

She can now mimick animal sounds.  She can snort like a piggy, rib bit, meow, bark, roar like a bear and cluck like a chicken and peeps like a chick.

She says our neighbors names. She calls Conner 'Conna" and she calls Carysa 'Lala'.

We also lost two Elmos today.  First, her Elmo hermit crab died and second, she followed Johnny out to the back deck today with her balloon in her hand and let it go.  She pointed and called for Elmo.  She never cried but later she kept looking out the back window and pointing to the sky and calling 'Elmo'  Shortly after, Anthony decided to 'release' his Spongebob balloon to join 'Elmo' in the sky. So we all watched together.
