Yesterday was Anthony's 7th birthday.  I still remember what we did the night before he was born.  Grandma and Grandpa were in the middle of redecorating our bedroom for us.  Grandpa was putting down a new floor and Grandma was painting and putting up wall paper border.  So Johnny and I were sleeping in our family room in our Florida house.  We watched the season finale of the first Apprentice and then we stayed up and watched Finding Nemo while eating peanut butter cookies from Winn-Dixie.  We only got maybe 3 or 4 hours of sleep that night because we were so excited.

This year we got Anthony the movie Despicable Me, a Spongebob toothpaste dispenser that plays music, a white Spongebob t-shirt that turns yellow in the sun, a bug shack, and two snails for his fish tank.  He named them Gary and Bob.  Grandma got him the butterfly house that he's been asking for.  I think his favorite present came from Aunt Kim.  She got him a Paper Jams Guitar.  Grandma took us out to dinner at Anthony's favorite restaurant, Ihop.  On the way home, I played the message Aunt Chris left him. She sang Happy Birthday to him and said that she had a present waiting for him in Virginia.  Then we had cake and Anthony counted his candles to make sure there were seven.
