They sent me on a wild pumpkin chase.... Finally found one after four stops

Someone brought in a hedgehog to Emily's school today.  She never even mentioned it until I saw a picture on the computer and asked Emily about it.

Halloween Eve.... at Emily's school

Emily wore her Minnie Mouse costume to her school party

Ms. Tania posted pictures.... Emily was the first one to fall asleep at naptime.(and she never naps) Ms. Rachel said she was the last one to wake up too.  The other kids were playing around her as she slept.

Aunt Kim came trick or treating with us this year

Gru and his minions

We had a good Halloween this year.  The kids had fun.  Emily had a party at her school. She woke up cranky and didn't want to go.  I suspected she had to poop.  I was right.  As soon as she was done she smiled and said, "I'm ready to go to the party now."  The minute she walked in the door, Jonathan (the boy who told his parents at the school picnic that Emily was his girlfriend) said, "Wow!  She looks beautiful. Then Natalie and Ms. Rachel said it too. Emily was happy.  That afternoon Ms. Tania posted pictures she took that day.  Emily actually feel asleep at naptime.  Not only did she take a nap, but she was also the first one in her class to fall asleep.  Ms. Rachel said she was the last to wake up and that her friends were playing all around her as she slept. Daddy picked her up from school and she was so happy.  This year the kids went as characters from the movie, Despicable Me.  Originally Emily wanted to be Minnie Mouse and wanted Aubrey to be Santa Claus. (she saw a Santa costume for babies online) When she saw a baby minion costume, she decided Aubrey needed to be a minion.  She wanted to be one too, so Anthony decided to be Gru.  Grandma made their costumes.  She made the girl's eyes, and she got them yellow sweatshirts and sewed hair on top.  She made G's for their overalls. She made Anthony a scarf and we put balloons under his shirt to make his shoulders look bigger.  We had fun trick or treating. Aubrey was a little sleepy since she didn't take a nap, but everyone was on their best behavior. Daddy dressed up like a jail bird and Grandma made me a last minute minion hat and G.  Everyone was admiring the kids costumes and saying how original they were.
