Anthony was in the Seymour Christmas parade with his pack for cub scouts. We had a lot of fun watching him and Emily loved catching the candy that was thrown to her. She shouted Merry Christmas to strangers, even the Grinch and Santa Claus.
A couple weeks ago the kids had their Christmas pictures taken with Santa Clause. They were so good. Emily was a little shy but she came around. The pictures are in now and I love them.
We all have the flu. Anthony has missed over a week of school. But at least we should all be better by Christmas.
Last week Anthony and I made chocolate candy Christmas trees. Then we had Carysa over and we made crayon Christmas trees and watched Men in Black 3 together. Carysa talked a lot. She wasn't into the movie at first, but ended up loving it.
Our elf (elf on the shelf) has been very mischevious this year. He has taken a nap with Emily's Blueberry doll (from Strawberry Shortcake), stolen Anthony's new slinky, sang Christmas carols with the snowmen, swung from our garland, put candy canes on our tree and even decorated it with toilet paper.
Anthony and I watched It's a Wonderful Life together and he loved it. We check on Santa's reindeer online and Emily was sent a video from Santa Claus and he has a purple ornament with her picture on it on his tree in the North Pole.
