Sunday was the 10th anniversary of 9/11, they day that terrorist hijacked airplanes and crashed them thru the twin towers (The World Trade Center buildings in New York City)  We watched the specials on the History channel and Daddy and I were both thinking how strange it was the our kids will read about that day in their history books at school.

Monday, we watched Connor.  We took Emily and Connor to the first story time at the library.  Connor had a good time.  I asked Connor to take Emily's hand and walk her up to the front to grab an ice cream cone number to add to the chart. He took her hand, but then she walked him to the front to the lollipop basket. She thought library was over.  Both Connor and Emily were standing at the front holding hands looking confused.  It was so funny.  When we got home, I put them both down for a nap. I told Emily to tell Connor good night.  Instead she made fish lips and leaned in for a kiss.  Connor backed up and made a face.  I told him it was ok, he could give her a kiss if he wanted to.  He said "But I don't want to" in his cute little southern accent.

Anthony's school was having an event at school.  U.S Cellular is donating $150,000 to which ever school gets the most votes.  For every vote you turned in, your child got to have their picture taken with a character.  They had Clifford the big red dog, Cinderella, Belle, The Texas Roadhouse armadillo, and the shark from Ripley's aquarium. Emily was excited to see Clifford but wasn't to excited to get his picture taken with him.  Then we had spaghetti dinner at school and watched two plays put on by a 1st and 2nd grade class.  Emileigh, who Anthony's known since day care was in one the first play, The three little pigs.  She was the cutest little pig.  Then we watched the 1st graders perform the same play, but from the wolf's point of view. It was hilarious.
