Anthony and I went to see Mocking Jay Part 1 together last night.  Then we stopped at McKay's for him to use his store credit to buy Xbox games.  Then we stopped at Walmart for a little window shopping and dinner at Subway.

How could I almost forget to add this picture? I've been anxiously awaiting to see this picture for over a month.  Both kids came home with a permission slip this have their picture taken with a turtle, a bearded dragon or a kangaroo. Emily said she didn't want to, but Anthony said he would like to. Every day for a month I asked him if his picture was in yet. It finally arrived last week. I love it. He looks so handsome and happy. Oh and the kangaroo was sick, so the sent a wallaby instead.

kindergarten aint no joke

Kindergarten is serious business.  I wish they had nap time because all that learning tires my sweet girl out sometimes. She rushed to finish her homework so she could watch YouTube videos. Her favorites are watching girls make things out of Play dough. Emily and Aubrey we watching videos together and next thing I know Emily's sound asleep tucked under the covers with Aubrey's favorite baby doll. I suspect Aubrey did that.

Tonight after dinner I made the kids hot chocolate with homemade chocolate candy cane spoons to stir with, to go with their cookies.

Daddy work and Dora

 Yesterday Daddy helped Aubrey try out Emily's jumper. Almost every day Aubrey and I have the same conversation when she wakes up from her nap. She asks, "Where'd Daddy go?" and I say, "Daddy went to work." I think she thinks that is  Daddy's name now because that's what she calls him when she sees him. "Hi Daddy Work!"

We skipped story time at the library because it was a cold and rainy day. So instead Aubrey and I cuddled this morning and watched Dora together. When it was over she did the "We did it" dance. Then she went shopping around the living room. She refused to take her finger out of her nose because she thought it was funny and she knew I was trying to take her picture.
