The kids just finished their third week of school. Emily was sick with a fever and has missed three days of school. Anthony had a bad headache and a low fever the night before his first day. Now he has a head cold and a sore throat. These back to school germs! Ugh.
They have been extremely busy so far. Emily is learning math and word problems and this week she had her very first spelling test. She got a 100%. Anthony's homework is sooooo hard. He's getting the hang of it and has all A's and one B (math) so far. Aubrey is anxious to start her "school." Her first day of library storytime is Tuesday and she is looking forward to it. Next week the girls start a tumbling class together. Ms. Amanda, Emily's old dance/tumbling teacher, will be teaching the class. Emily doesn't remember her, but both girls are excited and happy to be taking the class together.
Anthony is doing great in boy scouts. He's already earned service hours by helping two of the older boys with their eagle projects so they can earn their eagle scout. Last weekend. Anthony and Jayden were in the Veteran's Day Parade in Pigeon Forge. Grandpa went with us to watch.
