2nd week of dance

Emily's dance class was so much fun this week.  She's not real comfortable with ballet and tap yet, but man does she love gymnastics.  She's gotten a lot braver.  This week she stayed in the classroom for most of the class and only came out when she either needed a tissue, or to tell Grandma and me to watch.  She was so funny.  I went in the classroom for a minute to take a movie of the teacher dancing so Emily could practice at home and catch up (the other girls started in the fall)  She kept asking me to take a picture.  Tumbling was hilarious.  She's a natural and did pretty great for her second week.  She has to perfect a few moves and learn the dance part of the routine.  But mostly she needs to learn not to wander off and do her own thing during the routine.  When the teacher asked her what her favorite part was, she pointed to the genie lamp.  I'm not sure if she meant the dance part or the actual lamp that they use as a prop.  When she asked what her favorite thing about tumbling was, she said the little bridges that you climb under and jump over.  She hasn't learned the other girls names yet, so far she calls them all "girl."   There is Bryleigh (the superstar)  Delana (the wild one) and Ainsley (the quiet one) Delana asked to stand next to Emily during ballet and later ratted her out and told the teacher, "She's not doing it."  (Emily stood still most of dance and just watched and absorbed it all.)
