Ijams and a birthday

She says my name!

Emily now says Mama and good, but most she says dada. She only says mama when she wants something. She loves when mommy says mama. Anthony and daddy egg her on and she says dadadada and then laughs like crazy. She can now stand while holding on to furniture. She can walk while holding on and can stand without holding on to anything for 10 seconds. She can also escape from her playpen. Still not sleeping thru the night :(
Anthony is as wild as ever. Been getting in some trouble at school. He is the class clown but the teacher said he's doing very well academically. Last night he made me hearts and wrote I love you. We went to the twins 7th b-day party last weekend, Shea and Shaun. Of course, Anthony kissed the birthday girl when no one was looking. Yes, he's a heartbreaker. At least he didn't kiss the birthday boy.
Since Cade's Cove is closed for spring we found a new spot. Ijams nature center had a gorgeous trail. It leads to the Tennessee river and a boardwalk. One side is mountain and the other side is water. We saw a cave and guess you had to go inside. Yep. Now Anthony wants to go in too. Daddy promised one day when Mommy is not around. We went back Wednesday, St Patrick's day, and also again on Friday. We are all a little sore right now.

Valentine's Week

Anthony missed a whole week of school due to being sick and then snow. Emily can now hold on to anything to pull herself up and bounce. Anthony took two naps yesterday when he usually takes none and watched Land of the Lost four times in one day. Everyone here except Emily is feeling a little under the weather. We went for a drive last night to get out of the house for awhile. The boys went in Walgreens and Anthony asked Daddy if they could get me a Valentines present so I would cry. Anthony made Daddy the biggest card ever covered with hearts. Emily had her first bath not in the baby tub after doing the nastiest poop ever. She also climbed on the treadmill and started crawling. Think she may have said mama. Anthony had a party at CCD today and made lots of crafts.

Family Fun Day

Ski ball....a little shopping.....a long scenic drive, Anthony had sleepover with Grandma and Grandpa...... Mommy and Daddy watched Criminal Minds marathon.

Emily

Grandpa came back from a 2 week trip to FL and Emily didn't recognize him. She gave him her stranger smile. Emily can now hold onto her crib bar and pull herself up to stand. So far she still does not say mama but can say... dada lala and dawdaw. She loves to crawl and she's getting fast. She loves to chase Lucy around the house.
