Bug week at the library

Spring Break

I've been sick the kids entire spring break so I tried to squeeze in a little fun at the end.   Emily has been sad.  She enjoys seeing our new ducks, Quackers 2 and Ming Ming grow. But she is reminded that every day is one day closer to us having to let them go to live in a pond.  I took the kids to feed he ducks at the pond in Knoxville so they could see how happy ducks are to live in the wild and be able to swim whenever they want.

Then we picked Aunt Kim up and we all went to the Baptist church playground to play.

Sunday I took the kids to Sam's Club for shopping and lunch.

Spring 2016

In two days it will be April 1st, the start of a new month.  I will do better updating this blog.  Life can get so busy and I forget. It doesn't make it any easier that most of our pictures I've been taking on my tablet and it's not as easy to upload here as the ones on the camera.  I will try to play catch up and put the last few months pictures on here because we have some cute ones.

Emily at her girl scout meeting

Christi, the troop leader is making the girls pink berets. Tonight the girls got to pin and cut their hats from a pattern and Ms. Christi will sew them for the girls.  They will be celebrating World Thinking Day in a few weeks are they are studying France.  Each girl was given an assignment.  Emily's is to learn popular French phrases.

February 2016

Time is going by so fast.  Pretty soon it will be the kids will have another birthday and will be another year older.  Where does the time go?  I haven't updated our family blog in months.  So much happens so quickly in the lives of children.  Anthony is doing fantastic in school.  This semester so far he has all A's.  And his lowest grade has been a B.  He is loving boy scouts and has been participating in all kinds of scouting events and earning merit badges.  Friday he is volunteering at Cross Ministries.  He has a class called RTI that changes every six weeks. His last class was being on the news team where he performs in front of and behind the camera.  Emily is doing great as well. She is improving in school and you would never know she is shy to see her in action.  Her teacher is noticing great progress in her reading and she is becoming much more outgoing.  I volunteer in her classroom every Friday and she is working so hard and getting along great with her friends.  She's in girl scouts now and has made many new friends and participating in all kinds of activities.  Aubrey is such a little "cutie pie" and a joy to be around.  We go to the Seymour Library together every Monday morning and she loves it so much that many weeks we drive out the Sevierville library to enjoy their storytime as well. She's bonded with a few other girls there. She loves Svetlana in Sevierville and recently she friended a little girl named Johnnie from the Seymour library.  Daddy took the girls to the part yesterday and both Aubrey and Emily ran into friends.
