I taught Anthony how to play Monopoly which he later taught Carysa

3rd library day

Today was Emily's third week going to the preschool story hour at the library.  Again, she brought her whole entourage: Mommy, Daddy, and Grandma. This week the someone they call the puppet lady came.  She brought puppets and told us the story about them.  Since it's black history month, Mr Spence read us the book President Obama wrote to his daughters. Then the kids colored. When it was time to go, Emily got her silly band and lollipop.  Then she tried to get back in line to get another :)

Superbowl

We watched the Superbowl at Grandma's.  Of course, Anthony picked daddy's team (Steelers) and Emily picked mommy's (Packers) The kids were so wild and energetic.  Emily never took a nap and stayed up until after 10pm. Everytime I yelled at the tv, Emily yelled with me.  The Packers won :) and Emily feel asleep on the way home.

Emily woke up from her nap with fever cheeks and wild hair.  The lollipop seemed to have helped :)

Indoor kiddie pool

It's a pretty day out.  It's been a little chilly and very windy but it's sunny.  Anthony was upset because his kite broke.  I decided to let the kids play in the tub awhile before their baths and pretend they were in a warm indoor kiddie pool. Anthony kept sticking his feet in Emily's face so she kept trying to bite his toes. They were getting kind of wild and me and the floor were getting wet so I closed the curtain.

I was agitating Anthony and caused him to lose his video game...

Anthony: Thanks Mommy
Me: Uh, You're welcome. What are you thanking me for?
Anthony:  Sarcasm Mommy!
