Stealing again and boob questions
Tonight Emily took off with a water bottle. She drank from it several times without spilling, until I tried to take it away. Anthony asked his father why we have boobs. He said, "I don't know, why do you think we have them?" Anthony said, " I think they are a decoration." :-)

We have a walker!
Oh yeah I almost forgot, Emily walks really fast. She started a few months ago, while holding on. She was walking very well and fast before her first birthday and gets faster everyday. Last night she pooped out a penny.
It's been awhile......
Ok, so I haven't updated this blog in forever. Not because I don't have the time, but just because I have been lazy. Emily had her 1st birthday in May. Anthony did better at the end of the school year. We have 3 new pets, 2 bunnies and a turtle. Emily still mostly says Dada and Daddy but I haven't heard Mama in forever. Chris and Larry came to visit a few weeks ago and we got to see Skylar. Johnny started a vegetable garden this spring and so far he has harvested green beans, tomatoes, cucumbers and a few blueberries. It's kind of hard to remember everything now that so much time has passed, but hopefully I'll remember to update more often.

One more day til Anthony's b-day
Anthony's birthday is tomorrow. I can't believe he'll be 6. He's had some trouble in school but since he got assigned to a new teacher last week he is doing much better. He's been getting good notes all week. Right now he's playing his new Mario golf video game. We're taking him bowling for his birthday and I'm making him a chocolate cake with vanilla green icing. Green is still his favorite color. It has been ever since he was old enough to say it. We took him out to spend his birthday gift cards. Last night we went to Toys R Us and he got a car track that floats is water and a color changing car. Today he went to Walmart and got new fish for the tank. We got him Alvin and the Chipmunks 2, two video games, and some other small presents.
Emily is a crawling super fast. She can walk while holding on to the table or couch. Today she stood for about a min, took one step and then fell down. She's not sleeping thru the night yet, but does sometimes and on the nights she wakes up, she does only once. She's not quite the light sleeper she was when she was an infant but I still try not to exhale when I walk past her door. She says Dada mostly. Occasionally she will say mama. And the other day I took her to the grocery store and I swear she said "junk". I don't know if that meant buy junk or no junk but she said it several times and laughed hysterically.
I am one lucky mommy. Life is much busier with two kids but I'd say it's well worth it. Nights with out them are quieter but also lonely. I love you guys with all my heart and cheese.

She says my name!
Emily now says Mama and good, but most she says dada. She only says mama when she wants something. She loves when mommy says mama. Anthony and daddy egg her on and she says dadadada and then laughs like crazy. She can now stand while holding on to furniture. She can walk while holding on and can stand without holding on to anything for 10 seconds. She can also escape from her playpen. Still not sleeping thru the night :(
Anthony is as wild as ever. Been getting in some trouble at school. He is the class clown but the teacher said he's doing very well academically. Last night he made me hearts and wrote I love you. We went to the twins 7th b-day party last weekend, Shea and Shaun. Of course, Anthony kissed the birthday girl when no one was looking. Yes, he's a heartbreaker. At least he didn't kiss the birthday boy.
Since Cade's Cove is closed for spring we found a new spot. Ijams nature center had a gorgeous trail. It leads to the Tennessee river and a boardwalk. One side is mountain and the other side is water. We saw a cave and guess you had to go inside. Yep. Now Anthony wants to go in too. Daddy promised one day when Mommy is not around. We went back Wednesday, St Patrick's day, and also again on Friday. We are all a little sore right now.
